Slovenian Language Courses in London
Slovenian or Slovene is an Indo-European language that belongs to the family of South Slavic languages. It is spoken by approximately 2.2 million speakers worldwide, the majority of whom live in Slovenia. Slovenian is one of the official languages of the European Union..Most Slovenians live within the borders of the independent Slovenia (1,631,363). There are Slovenian minorities in northeastern parts of Italy (estimated at 83,000 - 100,000), southern Austria (18,000), Croatia (13,200) and Hungary (3,180). Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia officially recognize Slovenians as national minorities.
Slovenia, officially the Republic of Slovenia is a coastal Alpine country in southern Central Europe bordering Italy on the west, the Adriatic Sea on the southwest, Croatia on the south and east, Hungary on the northeast, and Austria on the north. The capital of Slovenia is Ljubljana.
Slovenia has a high-income developed economy which enjoys the highest GDP per capita ($25,266 in 2007) of the newly joined EU countries, or around 86% of the EU average. The country's relatively high rate of inflation declined to 2.3% by 2006 and is now comparable to the average in the European Union. Overall, the country is on a sound economic footing. It was the first new member of the EU to adopt the euro as the country's only currency on 1 January 2007. Moreover, Slovenia will also be the first new member state to hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2008.

Evening Classes
We organise weekly Slovenian evening classes in central London for beginners. Beginners group classes cover general topics for those with no prior knowledge of the language such as: greetings and introductions, buying tickets, eating out, shopping, asking for personal information etc. The maximum number of students is 10 per class.
