Polish Language Courses in London
Polish is the official language of Poland and is the second most widely spoken slavic language after Russian. Polish shares some vocabulary with the languages of the neighboring Slavic nations, most notably with Slovak, Czech, Ukrainian and Belarusian.Polish is the native language of 38 million Poles, the second language in western Belarus and the Ukraine, and is also spoken in eastern Lithuania. Due to a series of historical emigrations from Poland, millions of Polish-speakers may be found in many countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, etc. There are over 50 million Polish-speakers worldwide.
Poland, officially known as the Republic of Poland, is a country in Central Europe bordered by Germany to the west, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the south, Ukraine and Belarus to the east, and the Baltic Sea, Lithuania and the Russian enclave Kaliningrad Oblast to the north. It also shares a maritime border with Denmark and Sweden.
The Poles voted to join the European Union in a referendum in June 2003 becoming a full member on May 1, 2004. Between 2007 and 2010, the government plans to float twenty public companies on the Polish stock market, including parts of the coal industry. As many as 100,000 jobs will be created over the next few years as companies such as LG, Phillips, Siemens, Volvo and Hewlett-Packard invest hundreds of millions of pounds in Poland. Poland also has a large number of private farms within its agricultural sector, with the potential to become a leading producer of food in the European Union.

Evening Classes
We organise weekly Polish evening classes in central London for beginners. Beginners group classes cover general topics for those with no prior knowledge of the language such as: greetings and introductions, buying tickets, eating out, shopping, asking for personal information etc. The maximum number of students is 10 per class.
